David Resnick maintains a national practice concentrated in commercial real estate development, leasing and finance matters.  He has over 19 years of experience handling all facets of commercial real estate transactions, including the acquisition, sale, financing and leasing of industrial, office, residential, retail, mixed-use and hotel properties.

In addition, David negotiates construction, joint venture and divestiture agreements for real estate development and investment transactions.  He represents banks and other financial institutions and private enterprises in the negotiation and documentation of mortgage, mezzanine, bridge, and structured debt.

David counsels a diverse array of clients, from commercial property owners, tenants, developers and investors, to retailers, hospitality management firms, lenders and finance professionals. He is a trusted adviser with a mastery of his clients’ short- and long-term objectives in each transaction, be it a modest office lease or an eight-figure construction financing. David is committed to partnering with his clients and approaches each matter with creativity and passion.

David is committed to volunteerism and community involvement, and serves as Chair, Board of Trustees of the Greater Illinois Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, as well as on the Board of Directors for Urban Gateways, a legacy Chicago organization that connects disadvantaged youth with the arts community.
